Kindergarten Registration
Loveland’s kindergarten registration for the 2026-27 school year will open on January 20, 2026.
If your child will be five years old on or before August 1, 2026, they can be part of the Loveland Tiger Class of 2038! Please return to this page after January 20, 2026, for registration instructions.
Registration is not final until an appointment with the LECC office has been completed.
Important Note
Loveland City Schools does not offer open enrollment.
Students and their parents must currently be living within our district boundaries to enroll. You can determine if your address falls within the residential boundaries for Loveland City School District with the following links:
What do I need to register my child?
Whether registering online or in person, you must provide the following documents:
- Child’s Birth Certificate
- Child’s Immunization Record
- Proof of Residency - closing paperwork or deed/rental agreement AND a current utility bill
- Parent/Guardian ID
- Custody Paperwork (if applicable)
- Special Education paperwork (if applicable)
Half Day vs. Full Day Kindergarten
Half-day kindergarten is provided at no charge. Full-day kindergarten is tuition-based, and the Loveland City School District works to provide it to every family who would like it. Kindergarten registration must be completed before May 1, 2026, to ensure full-day kindergarten is available for your student.

- Approximately 3 hours
- One outdoor playtime daily
- No lunch at school
- Students receive Music once a week
- Media Center once a week
- STEM Lessons Once a Month
Full Day
- Tuition Based
- Approximately 6.5 hours
- Additional time for academic centers and exploratory play
- Includes lunch at school
- Extra recess period
- Students receive Music, Art and Gym
- Media Center once a week
- STEM Lessons Once a Month
